Jumilla Wine Route

The Jumilla Wine Route is one of the oldest in Spain.

Currently, the Jumilla Wine Route is made up of 6 town councils belonging to the Jumilla PDO: Jumilla itself in the Region of Murcia and in the province of Albacete, Fuente Álamo, Ontur, Tobarra, Montealegre del Castillo and Hellín. The CRDOP Jumilla has more than 20 wineries, oil mills, hotels, etc. as associates.

In the municipality of Jumilla, Iberian earrings were found in Coimbra del Barranco Ancho, in a burial trousseau, which today are a symbol of the CRDOP Jumilla and one of the most important finds in the area, as well as the seeds of vitis vinifera. All this together make up more than 5,000 years of history.

It has great recognised events in which to enjoy Jumilla PDO wines and the gastronomy of Jumilla, such as the famous "Jornadas Gastronómicas" or "Música entre vinos", as well as the "Ruta Km0" (Km0 Route).
